Pseudo-infarction and chest pain: mimic of squamous cellular carcinoma
The ST-ECG elevation has many causes, although three are very important: acute myocardial infarction, pericarditis and Prinzmetal’s angina. It’s sometimes possible to highlight this elevation in cancer patients due to an invasion or metastasis of the myocardial tissue. This case shows the importance of an early differential diagnosis in the case of chest pain symptoms with the presence of a simultaneous ST- ECG elevation.
