Meditation and pain
Over the past 30 years, considerable researches have examined the psychological and physiological effects of meditation and meditative practices, available for a wide variety of health care. Since centuries there is a form of meditation rather simple but quite effective, which is called Mindfulness, which may be translated as “awareness”. This practice is based on the awareness of the present moment, of being “here and now”. An easy way to become aware of himself and of what is happening not just around us, but especially within us. Many studies have attested to the validity, but there are still many scientists who are dedicated to the discovery of new applications of “mindfulness”. We propose an overview of the most significant studies.
